Oxanote is a non-profit initiative focused on Social Infrastructure & Energy Law, Finance and Economics which aims to support development finance for projects in Africa, with a special focus on the economic development of the Nile Basin African countries.
Over the past two decades, creating bankable infrastructure projects in Africa has been a challenging task due to the high cost of capital leading to government debt distress.
As of 2022, the African Development Bank reports that Africa suffers from an infrastructure funding gap of $100 Billion Annually.
